Well, if ya ever wondered just how tall Zach Edey’s daddy is, let me tell ya, it ain’t as tall as his boy, that’s for sure! But his daddy, Glen Edey, well, he ain’t near as tall. You see, Glen’s a good bit shorter than Zach, standin’ at just 5 feet 8 inches, or in numbers that fancy folks use, about 173 centimeters. Now, don’t be thinkin’ that’s short either, it’s just that when you got a son who’s a giant like Zach, you start wonderin’ where he got all that height from!
Now, Zach’s dad, Glen, is a real good feller. He ain’t playin’ basketball like his son, but he’s still a big part of Zach’s life, and from what folks say, he’s been a good ol’ supportive dad. He stands right at 5 feet 8 inches, which is about average for most folks. His weight’s not too bad either, right around 174 pounds or 79 kilograms. But lemme tell ya, it don’t matter how tall Glen is, he’s always been proud of his boy, and that’s what counts.
Glen, even though he ain’t a towering figure, was still a part of Zach’s upbringings. Now, I reckon it’s good to have a dad who stands by you no matter what. He might not have played ball professionally, but he’s been there for Zach since day one, pushin’ him to be the best. And even though Glen’s not playin’ basketball, his support for Zach is as tall as any skyscraper!
It’s kinda funny, when ya think about it, that someone like Zach, who’s taller than most trees around here, comes from a family where not everyone is so big. His mama, Julia Edey, she’s not all that short, standin’ at 6 feet 3 inches, but still, she’s a bit shorter than him. She’s a strong lady, though, bein’ a former basketball player and engineer. She helped Zach grow into the fine young man he is today, both in basketball and in life. But as for Glen, well, he just does what a dad does, always there to cheer his boy on.
Now, it ain’t just about how tall people are. It’s about what they do with what they’ve got. Zach may be tall, but his parents made sure he had what he needed to make it big. They didn’t just sit around and wait for things to happen. They worked hard and made sure their boy had the best shot at success, even if it meant standin’ on the sidelines watchin’ him grow taller than anyone could ever imagine!
