Alright, so I saw this video title – “yankees fan slaps phillies fan” – and I just had to see what that was all about. My curiosity was killing me, and you all know I love watching something a little, let’s say, “unhinged.”
First, I scrolled through my usual spots to see if anyone I follow had already posted anything about it. Nope, nothing. I was flying blind.
Then I started hunting. I typed the title into a search engine, fingers crossed I’d find something juicy. The search page loads, and I’m faced with a bunch of articles and videos.
I started by trying to understand the background. Where was this? When did it happen? I checked a few news articles to get the basics down. It seemed like it was after a game, from the clothing some folks were wearing.
Next, I went straight for the video. I clicked on one of the many results and hit play. I watched the whole thing, start to finish. It’s pretty short, but man, is it wild! Just a quick slap, out of nowhere.
I was pretty stunned, so I watched it again. And again. Trying to see if I missed something. Nope. Still just a sudden slap.
After I got over the initial shock, I started looking at the comments. Pure chaos, as expected. Some people were laughing, others were mad, and some were just…confused. I even left my own comment, something like, “Wow, that came out of nowhere!”
