I had planned for this event for a long time. Today, I finally got to check out the WWE Monday Night Raw at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. It was Monday, June 10, 2024, and I was pretty pumped about it. It was also a way for superstars to get one over their rivals before they jet off to Scotland for Clash at the Castle.
To make sure I didn’t miss a thing, I did a bit of homework. The show was set to start at 7:30 p.m., so I aimed to get there early. I found out that there’s no minimum age to attend, which is cool, so anyone could enjoy it. But you do need a valid ID to collect your credentials. Also, from my past experiences, I knew that showing up early is a must, especially if you want to grab some merchandise. I also checked that WWE shows are more about entertainment than actual contests. They’re scripted and choreographed, but the moves can still be risky, so I knew it would be thrilling to watch.
I got to the Huntington Center about ten minutes before the doors opened, and wow, the line was already wrapped around the block! It was a sell-out crowd, which wasn’t surprising given how popular WWE is right now. The line moved pretty quickly, though, and soon I was inside, soaking up the atmosphere. The place was buzzing with energy, and you could feel the excitement in the air.
Inside the arena, it was a pretty straightforward experience. I found my seat easily, and the view was great. No option to choose my exact seat location, but not a big deal since it was still a good view. Before the main event started, they had some WWE Speed matches and the Main Event show, which was a nice warm-up. Seeing Bron Breakker and Ilja Dragunov arriving earlier in the day, as shown on the big screens, hyped everyone up even more.
- Arrived ten minutes before the doors opened.
- Joined a long line that wrapped around the block.
- Entered the arena and easily found my seat.
- Watched the WWE Speed matches and the Main Event show as a warm-up.
- Saw Bron Breakker and Ilja Dragunov’s arrivals on the big screens.
The main show was incredible. The crowd was super into it, cheering and booing at all the right moments. There were some intense matches and a few surprises that kept everyone on their toes. Michael Cole was commentating, which added to the experience. The whole night was a blast, and I was glad I didn’t miss it.
Preparation and Arrival
I spent the morning getting ready, making sure I had my ID and everything else I needed. I left early to beat the traffic and find good parking. It was a good call because the traffic was getting heavy as I got closer to the venue.
Enjoying the Show
Throughout the event, I made sure to take plenty of photos and videos to remember the night. I also joined in with the chants and cheers, which made it even more fun. It was awesome to be part of such an energetic crowd. By the end of the night, I was exhausted but totally satisfied. I grabbed a bit of merch on the way out. It was a night to remember, and I can’t wait for the next WWE event.
