You know, that WWE Saudi Arabia thing, it’s a big deal, I tell ya. They go over there and wrestle, and it’s been going on for a while now. My grandson, he’s all excited about it. Keeps talking about these big, strong men throwing each other around.
Why WWE in Saudi Arabia?
Well, it ain’t like they just decided to go there for a picnic. They got some kind of deal, a big money deal, I reckon. Some say ten years of it, and the money is in the millions! They call it a partnership, fancy word for getting money, I guess. This WWE in Saudi Arabia thing started back in, let me think, 2018, I believe. It’s all about some plan they got over there, something about changing things up. Saudi Vision 2030, that is the thing they talk about a lot.
It seems that Saudi Arabia wants to become a better place, and they use this wrestling to attract people and show that they are changing, you know?
They want to do business with big companies and show the world they are not some old, dusty place anymore. It’s all part of their big plan, I reckon.
Wrestlers Go to Saudi Arabia
Those wrestlers, they fly all the way over there, get off the plane and probably don’t even know where they are. But they put on a show. I’ve seen pictures. Big crowds, lots of cheering. They got all them lights and music, just like they do here.
- They go there every year, sometimes even twice.
- A lot of people go there, I heard over a hundred. Not just wrestlers.
- They set up that big ring, and folks over there love it.
They put those wrestlers to work. My grandson, he knows all their names. Says they’re famous. I wouldn’t know, but they sure do look strong. They get all dressed up in those shiny outfits. And the crowd goes wild, just like at a county fair back home, only bigger. This whole WWE Saudi Arabia thing is quite the spectacle.
Some Folks Don’t Like It
Now, not everyone’s happy about this whole thing. I hear some folks talking, saying it ain’t right. They say things ain’t so good over there in Saudi Arabia, that the people running the place aren’t nice. Something about not letting folks do what they want, not treating them right, especially women. I don’t know all the details, but it sounds messy. My opinion is that we need to be nice to everyone, but that’s just me.
But WWE, they keep going back. That money must be good. Business is business, I suppose. They say they’re helping change things, but who knows. It’s a complicated world, ain’t it? They got their reasons, I guess. Maybe it will make Saudi Arabia become a better place. We will see.
And you know, the big boss, Triple H, he says they are not stopping. They are staying there. They are happy with the business they are doing there, so the shows will continue.
It’s All About the Money
It all comes down to money, don’t it? That’s what makes the world go ’round, they say. WWE, they’re making a lot of it over there. And Saudi Arabia, they get to show off, say they’re changing. It’s a win-win, I suppose, for them. But what about the regular folks? Are they winning? That’s what I wonder.
My grandson, he don’t care about all that. He just wants to see the wrestling. He wants to see his favorite wrestler win. He says it’s exciting. I guess that’s what matters to him. And maybe that’s all that matters to WWE, too. Keep the fans happy, keep the money rolling in.
This WWE Saudi Arabia thing, it’s a big puzzle. Lots of pieces, and they don’t all fit together nicely. But it’s happening, and it looks like it’s gonna keep happening for a while. Ten years, they say. That’s a long time. A lot can happen in ten years. Maybe things will change for the better. Maybe they won’t. We’ll just have to wait and see.
This is something that is here to stay, it seems. A lot of people talk about it, and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon. The WWE in Saudi Arabia is making money for both sides, so I don’t see it stopping, you know? They have a deal, and both like it, so they will keep doing it.
Well, that’s all I know about that WWE in Saudi Arabia. It is what it is, I guess.
