WWE Erie PA 2024 Lineup: Rumors, Spoilers, and Predictions

Alright, let’s talk about this WWE Erie PA 2024 lineup thing, ya know? I heard they’re comin’ to Erie in April, that’s what my grandson told me. He’s always yellin’ about wrestling, that boy. Says somethin’ about “Cody Rhodes” and “Kevin Owens” fightin’. Don’t know who they are, sounds like a bunch of fellas makin’ a ruckus.

Now, this WWE thing, it’s been around a long time, I reckon. My old man used to listen to it on the radio, back when radios were the size of a breadbox! He’d be sittin’ there, tappin’ his foot, listenin’ to them fellas grunt and groan. Said it was “sports entertainment.” Sounded like a whole lotta noise to me, but he liked it.

So, this Erie show, it’s a big deal, apparently. My grandson says it’s the only time they’re comin’ to Erie this year. That’s April 20th, if I remember right. He marked it on his calendar, big red circle around it. Kids these days, always gotta have somethin’ circled.

I asked him, “What’s the big fuss about?” He starts ramblin’ on about “championships” and “main events” and “rumors.” Lord have mercy, the boy talks a mile a minute! He said somethin’ about a “Survivor Series” too, happenin’ in November. That’s way off, though. We’re talkin’ about Erie now.

Now, I ain’t no wrestling expert, mind you. I like my soaps and my game shows, that’s more my speed. But from what I gather, these WWE fellas put on a show. Lots of jumpin’ and yellin’ and pretend fightin’. My grandson says it’s all “scripted,” whatever that means. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but he seems to enjoy it.

He’s always readin’ about it online too. Says there’s this “Ringside News” place, always talkin’ ‘bout “WWE” and “AEW”, whatever that is. And somethin’ called “TNA IMPACT!” Too many letters for an old lady like me to keep track of! He says they got all the latest news and gossip, who’s fightin’ who, who’s winnin’ what. Kids these days, always gotta know everything the minute it happens.

Anyways, back to this Erie show. If you’re into wrestling, I guess it’s a big deal. They got these fellas – Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and probably a bunch of others I never heard of – all comin’ to town to put on a show. My grandson’s already plannin’ on goin’. Said he’s gonna get tickets the second they go on sale. He’s even got his little wrestling t-shirt all ironed and ready to go. Bless his heart.

So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to do on April 20th, and you don’t mind a bunch of sweaty fellas yellin’ and jumpin’ around, then maybe this WWE thing is for you. Me? I’ll probably be home, watchin’ my stories and sippin’ on some sweet tea. But hey, to each their own, right? Just remember, April 20th, Erie, PA, WWE. That’s what all the fuss is about.

And another thing, my grandson keeps talkin’ ’bout “rumors” and “results”. Seems like there’s always somethin’ happenin’ behind the scenes with these wrestling fellas. He gets all worked up about it, readin’ about it on his phone. Says there’s a bunch of talk about Jade Cargill’s championship status and Ricky Starks’ contract. Honestly, I don’t understand half of what he’s sayin’, but he sure seems to find it excitin’. Kids these days, always lookin’ for a little drama.

Anyways, I think I’ve said about all I can say about this wrestling thing. It ain’t my cup of tea, but it makes my grandson happy, and that’s good enough for me. Just remember, if you’re in Erie on April 20th, there’s gonna be a whole lotta wrestling goin’ on. So, if that’s your thing, get yourself a ticket and have a good time. And if not, well, there’s always reruns of Wheel of Fortune.
