Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Wuthering Waves lately, and I wanted to share my little experiment with oscillated corals. I’m not a pro or anything, just a regular player who likes to try stuff out.

I started by, you know, actually getting some of these corals. I farmed them the usual way – beating up those Tacet Discords that drop them. It took a while, I’m not gonna lie. It’s not like they’re super rare, but it’s not instant either. You gotta put in the work, run around, and fight those things.
My Farming Route
- First step, teleport to a place,I don’t remember the name of that place.
- Second step, run, run, run,and fight monsters.
- Third step, pick up what monster droped.
- Repeat! Yeah,That’s it!
Once I had a decent stash, I went to my inventory to check them out. Just to be clear, these aren’t some super weapon or anything. They’re basically materials you use for upgrading stuff. You can’t equip them directly, it’s not like that.
I used them to upgrade a weapon, I don’t even remember which one it was, I think it was a sword. I went through the usual steps, clicked on the weapon, went to the upgrade section, and chose the oscillated corals as the material.
It’s pretty easy to find, by the way. The game shows you what you need, and you just click on it. It’s not rocket science.
The weapon’s level went up, its stats improved, the usual stuff. It’s not like a massive difference, but it’s definitely noticeable. Every little bit helps, right? That’s the whole point of these games, slowly grinding your way up.

So, yeah, that’s basically it. I got the corals, I used them to upgrade a weapon, and it worked. Nothing groundbreaking, but I figured I’d share my experience in case anyone else was wondering about them. It’s just a regular part of playing the game, really.
