Well now, if you’re sittin’ there wonderin’ if The Rock is gonna show up on SmackDown tonight, I reckon I got somethin’ to tell ya. A lotta folks been buzzin’ about it, with all this talk ’bout him comin’ back after bein’ away for a while. But let me tell ya, don’t get your hopes up too high. Even though The Rock made a big ol’ return just last Saturday, tonight’s episode of SmackDown won’t be seein’ him. He won’t be around tonight, no sir.
Now, I know some folks thought they’d get a big ol’ treat watchin’ The Rock go toe-to-toe with folks like Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes, and sure, that would’ve been somethin’ worth watchin’. But not tonight. The Rock mighta made his big splash last week, but tonight, he’s takin’ a step back. Looks like the drama from the Bad Blood event in Atlanta is still workin’ itself out, and The Rock won’t be there to stir the pot any further, at least not this time around.
For folks like me, who just wanna see what’s gonna happen next in this crazy WWE world, it’s kinda a letdown. We all thought that, with Bad Blood bein’ over, we’d see The Rock back on SmackDown, ready to rumble. But nope, looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to see where things are headed with him. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s still gonna be plenty of action on tonight’s show, just without ol’ Dwayne Johnson, that’s all.
Now, if you’re still askin’ yourself, “Well, where can I catch this week’s SmackDown if The Rock ain’t gonna be there?”, don’t fret, I gotcha covered. You can still watch it live tonight, same as usual. The show airs at 8 p.m. EST over on USA Network, so make sure ya don’t miss it if you’re hopin’ to see the fallout from last week’s big happenings. There’s gonna be other stuff happenin’, sure enough. Roman Reigns will be there, and there’s all kinds of action lined up, even without The Rock.
Now, let’s talk a little ‘bout what went down last week. I’m sure folks remember how Cody Rhodes gave The Rock a good ol’ slap right upside the face. That sure was somethin’ to see, wasn’t it? I reckon that’s one way to make sure nobody forgets ya. After that, people was expectin’ The Rock to come back swingin’ this week, but as we all know, he won’t be around tonight. If you was hopin’ for a big ol’ showdown, I guess you’ll just have to hold off a little longer.
But don’t you go and get too upset now. This is WWE we’re talkin’ about, and they always know how to keep things spicy. Even though The Rock won’t be there, you better believe there’s gonna be some drama, some fights, and all sorts of craziness. Maybe next week, we’ll see The Rock come back and do what he does best. But for tonight, just sit back and enjoy the ride, even if it’s a little quieter than we hoped.
Now, there’s a couple other things worth mentionin’. As always, you can catch the show live on USA Network, or if you’re more the streaming type, you can watch it on Fubo, Peacock, or Sling TV. It’s not the same as having The Rock there, but hey, it’s still SmackDown, and it’s still gonna be a wild time.
So, all in all, no, The Rock won’t be on SmackDown tonight. But don’t let that keep ya from watchin’ the show, ‘cause there’s still gonna be plenty to see. Just don’t expect him to be throwin’ punches or talkin’ smack this time around. Who knows? Maybe next week we’ll get lucky and see him back in action. Until then, we’ll just have to settle for what’s comin’ our way tonight, and trust me, there’ll still be plenty of that WWE excitement to keep us on the edge of our seats.
