Okay, so I saw this wild rumor online about Bryce Harper potentially going to the Cardinals, and I just had to dig in. It sounded crazy, but you never know, right?
First, I scrolled through Twitter. You know, that’s where all the “breaking news” seems to pop up first. Saw a bunch of fan accounts going nuts, some random “insiders” claiming they had sources… the usual chaos.
Next, I hit up some of the bigger sports sites. Checked, and a few others, just to see if any of the legit guys were reporting anything. Mostly, it was just articles talking about the possibility, not any actual confirmed reports.
Then I dove into some Cardinals fan forums. Man, those guys were going wild! Some were already designing custom jerseys with Harper’s name on them, others were convinced it was all a big hoax. It was entertaining, to say the least.
