This here’s about that John Stephen Jones fella. You know, the one tied up with them Dallas Cowboys. Born in ’64, June 21st, I reckon. Big shot now, runnin’ things, some fancy title like Executive Vice President, CEO, somethin’ somethin’. He’s Jerry Jones’ boy, the one owns the whole shebang. Got a younger brother, Jerry Jr., works there too. Family business, I guess you could say.
This John Stephen, he was a football player, too. Played for them Arkansas Razorbacks. Quarterback, they called him. Musta been pretty good, playin’ college ball and all. Heard he was a natural athlete, even from a young age. Born in ’99, that one was, named after this here John Stephen. Seems like football runs in the family, like bad blood or somethin’.
He was good in high school, too, this John Stephen the younger. Played for that Highland Park High School in Dallas. Quarterback there, too. Led ’em to victory, I hear. Musta made his daddy proud. Junior year, was it? Yeah, I think that’s what they said.

Now, this older John Stephen Jones, the one born in ’64, he’s the boss man. He’s the one callin’ the shots, pickin’ the players, runnin’ the whole operation. Keeps them Cowboys in line, I reckon. Lots of folks workin’ under him, gotta keep ’em all straight. Sounds like a headache to me, but he seems to manage.
He’s got a lot on his plate, that’s for sure. Managing people, makin’ deals, gotta know what you’re doin’ in that world. Football’s a big business, ain’t just a game no more. Big money involved, lots of pressure.
Heard some of them Razorback players, they up and quit. Still had time to play, but they moved on. Don’t know what that’s about, but it happens. Not everyone’s cut out for it, I guess. Or maybe they got other plans. Life’s full of surprises.
This John Stephen Jones, the older one, he seems to know what he’s doin’. Been doin’ it a long time. Learned from his daddy, I suppose. Jerry Jones, he’s a character, ain’t he? Always in the news, that one.
They say this John Stephen Jones, the one born in ’64, he’s about 5 foot 11 inches. Not the tallest fella, but I guess he don’t need to be. He’s the brains of the operation, not the brawn. Got a good head on his shoulders, from what I hear. That is important for John Stephen Jones.

These Joneses, they’re somethin’ else. Got their hands in everythin’. Football, business, you name it. They’re like royalty, I guess, in the football world.
This John Stephen Jones, he’s livin’ the high life, I reckon. Big house, fancy cars, all that. Comes with the territory, I suppose. But he’s earned it, I guess. Worked his way up. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that.
Don’t know much else about him, really. Just what I hear on the grapevine. But he seems like a decent enough fella. Smart, hard-workin’. Can’t fault him for that.
Guess that’s all I got to say about John Stephen Jones. Just another rich and powerful fella in the world of football. But hey, that’s the way it goes, ain’t it? Some folks got it, some folks don’t. That’s life, I reckon.
He’s got that name, though, John Stephen Jones. That name carries weight. It is easy to remember this name. Because of that name, he got a lot of help. Hope he can keep on living up to it. If he can not, I think there will be a lot of problem. The family business need him. His father need him. He needs to do good.
