Okay, so I was digging around the internet today, trying to find out how much moolah Duke’s new football coach, Mike Elko, is making. You know, just curious. It’s not always easy to find this stuff, surprisingly!
I started with a simple search. Typed in “Mike Elko salary” and hoped for the best. The first few hits were just general news articles about him getting hired, nothing specific about the cash.
The Hunt Begins
I started looking around, and there were lots of news, but most of it was generic, and I needed the specifics!
- First, I tried some of the usual sports websites. You know, the big names. No luck. Lots of talk about his coaching history, but I wanted the contract details!
- Then, I went down the rabbit hole of fan forums. Figured someone there might have insider info. Found a bunch of speculation, people throwing around numbers, but nothing I could trust.
- I even tried to see if there was anything on those websites that track public records.
The Search Continues…and Continues
Honestly, I spent a good chunk of the afternoon on this. I was starting to think this information was locked away in some vault, guarded by a dragon! I kept refining my searches, trying different combinations of words, adding “contract” and “Duke” and “football” to the mix. Still, it was mostly just the same news articles popping up.
Finally I Got the real information, I am very happy now.
