Okay, so I saw this “Asmongold networth” thing trending and, like, I had NO idea who this guy was. I’m not a huge gamer, you know? But the “networth” part caught my eye. So, I decided to do some digging. My usual thing.
First, I just did a simple search. Just typed in “Asmongold networth” and, boom, tons of stuff popped up. A bunch of websites, articles, some YouTube videos. It was overwhelming, I’m not gonna lie.
So, I started clicking around. The first few were, honestly, kind of trash. Just these clickbait-y sites with giant numbers and no real info. You know the type. I immediately backed out of those.
Then I found a couple that seemed a little more legit. They had, like, actual articles, not just some random number generator. They talked about his Twitch streaming, his YouTube channels, sponsorships… that kind of stuff. Still, I was taking it all with a grain of salt.
I spent maybe a good hour just reading through different articles, making a face while trying to get a general idea. One website said one thing, another said something totally different. It’s like, can anyone get their facts straight? I understand estimate.
I even tried to watch a couple of YouTube videos, but, man, some of them were long. Like, who has time to watch a 30-minute video about someone’s estimated income? Not me. I skimmed through a couple, trying to find the juicy bits.
The thing is, most of his cash seems to come from streaming. Donations, subs, ads… that whole world is foreign to me. I learned that.
I don’t know, it felt like looking for a needle in a haystack. Every source had a different number. Some were wildly different. It’s almost impossible to know the real number unless he, like, posts his bank statements online (which, obviously, he won’t). So this is all estimated.
After all that “research,” did I get a definitive answer? Nope. Not really. But I got a range, I guess. A very, very wide range. Let’s just say the guy’s doing pretty well for himself. I will say that much. It was interesting to see the numbers.
Would I do this again? Maybe. It was kind of a time-waster, to be honest, but it was also kind of fascinating. The internet is a weird place, man.
