Okay, so I needed to figure out the schedule for the Victor Lopez Classic for 2024. Been looking forward to this meet, wanted to see when specific events were happening, you know?

My Search Process
First thing I did, naturally, was jump on my computer. Opened up my browser and just typed in the basics: “Victor Lopez Classic 2024 schedule”. You get the usual flood of results, right? Some were links to last year’s meet, others were just general track websites talking about the event but not listing the actual times.
I spent a little while clicking through the first few pages of results. Checked out the host university’s athletics page too, figured that would be the most direct place. Navigated around their track and field section. Sometimes these schedules are buried a bit, maybe under ‘Meet Information’ or something similar. Had to poke around different menus.
Found some general info about the meet, participating teams, location details, which was good, confirmed I was looking at the right event for this year. But the detailed hour-by-hour schedule wasn’t immediately obvious on the first couple of pages I checked.
Finding the Details
Kept at it. Went back to my search results and tried slightly different terms. Sometimes adding ‘PDF’ or ‘Meet Info’ to the search helps filter things. After a few more tries, I landed on a page, I think it might have been linked from a dedicated track and field news site or maybe a specific athletic timing site.
And there it was! A full breakdown. It listed the days, usually Friday and Saturday for this meet if I remember right. And then the specific times for all the different heats and finals. Running events, field events like jumps and throws, everything. Took a bit of digging, scrolling through different links, but I finally got the complete schedule laid out.

So yeah, now I have the times and know what’s happening when. Looks like a busy couple of days down there. Glad I took the time to track it down properly instead of just guessing.
