Okay, so the other day I was diving deep into Cyberpunk 2077 again, and I got to thinking about the gear. Specifically, the legendary gear. I mean, everyone wants that sweet, sweet legendary loot, right? But I realized I wasn’t entirely sure what color it was supposed to be. I thought it was orange, but then I started second-guessing myself. Was it gold? Yellow? My memory was failing me.
So, I fired up the game. I mean, what better way to figure this out than to go straight to the source, right?
My Little Experiment
First, I loaded up my most recent save. I figured I’d just check my inventory and see what I had.
I scrolled through weapons, clothes, cyberware – everything.
And there it was! Plenty of items with that familiar glow.
I checked, I double-checked. I even called over my roommate to make sure I wasn’t seeing things.

- I looked for the highest-tier items I owned.
- Yep, definitely the color is orange!
