So, I finally decided to actually look into these zzz 1.0 events properly. Heard folks talking about rewards and stuff, figured I’d see what the fuss was about, how they actually worked in practice.

Booted up the game first, naturally. Poked around the main menus for a bit. Found some event stuff flagged right there, inside the game interface. That seemed straightforward. Clicked into one, followed the prompts. You know, do this task, get that little reward. Pretty standard fare.
My Process with In-Game Stuff
Okay, so the in-game ones were simple:
- Logged in daily, there was usually a pop-up or a marked section.
- Checked the requirements. Usually things like ‘complete X stage’ or ‘use Y character’.
- Went and did the thing. Took a bit of time, grinding through some stages I might have done anyway.
- Came back to the event screen, hit the ‘claim’ button. Got some resources, maybe currency.
Felt integrated, mostly seamless. Didn’t have to think too much, just played the game and got a little extra for it.
Then Came the Web Events…
This is where it got a bit clunky for me. Alongside the in-game stuff, there were mentions of other events, but they kicked you out of the game. Had to open up a web browser separately.
First time, I had to find the right page. Then sometimes log in again, linking my game account. Felt disconnected, you know? Took me out of the game world. Why make me jump through hoops on a website?

The web events themselves were okay, I guess. Sometimes little mini-games, sometimes sharing stuff. Clicked through those too. Got some codes, had to go back into the game to redeem them sometimes. Felt like extra steps for no good reason.
It honestly felt like two different systems bolted together. One team handled the in-game part, smooth sailing. Another team maybe did the web part, felt tacked on. Like they couldn’t figure out how to do it all inside the game engine or just wanted to drive traffic to their site. Who knows?
Anyway, went through the motions for both types during that 1.0 phase. Got whatever rewards were on offer. Wasn’t life-changing, but my main goal was just to experience the process they set up. Documented it for my own notes. It worked, sure, but the split between in-game and web felt awkward. Just my two cents from actually doing it.
