Alright, let’s gab about this Hades 2 game, y’know, the one everyone’s yappin’ about. Folks keep askin’, “How long’s it take to beat this thing?” Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t a quickie, that’s for sure.
First off, if you’re just lookin’ to get to the end of the story, like, just wanna see what happens and be done with it, they say it’s about 19-20 hours. That’s a good chunk of time, ain’t it? Imagine sittin’ there for 20 hours! My old bones would be achin’ somethin’ fierce. But these young folks, they got the time, I guess. They sit there starin’ at them screens all day long.
Now, if you’re one of them perfectionist types, the kind who gotta find every little secret and do everythin’ there is to do, well, honey, you’re in for a long haul. We’re talkin’ maybe 50 hours, maybe more! Fifty hours! That’s like two whole days and then some! I could bake a whole lotta pies in that time, I tell ya.
- Main Story: Around 19-20 hours. Just gettin’ through the main stuff, y’know?
- Completionist (100%): Upwards of 50 hours or even more. Findin’ everythin’, doin’ everythin’. Gotta be a real busybody for that.
- Early Access: If you’re playin’ the game before it’s all finished, it might take ya around 13-18 hours just for the main story. But mind ya, that could change, they’re always addin’ stuff.
Some folks are sayin’ this Hades 2 is way bigger than the first one. Like, twice as much stuff to see and do. They got all sorts of new places to go, not just down in the underworld, but up to Mount Olympus too! Sounds fancy, don’t it? Olympus… I bet they got some mighty fine baklava up there.
But listen here, this game ain’t even finished yet! They call it “Early Access,” which means they’re still workin’ on it. So, that 19 hours to beat the story? That might change. They might add more stuff, make it longer, who knows? And that 50 hours for doin’ everythin’? Pfft, that could go up too! So don’t go holdin’ me to it, alright?
I heard some young fella talkin’ about “rogue-like dungeon crawler.” Don’t ask me what that means. Sounds like somethin’ you’d find in a dusty old cellar. But apparently, it means you gotta fight your way through lots of nasty places and mean critters. And if you die, well, you gotta start all over again! Can you imagine? All that work, gone! Makes my blood pressure go up just thinkin’ about it. I’d rather just sit down with a cup a tea and a nice biscuit.
And they got this Titan of Time you gotta fight. Time, huh? That’s somethin’ nobody can beat, not even in a video game. But these young folks, they like a challenge. They’ll sit there for hours, tryin’ again and again, just to beat that Titan. Me? I’d just go take a nap. Time’s too precious to waste fightin’ imaginary monsters.
Anyway, the point is, this Hades 2 game, it ain’t no short little thing. It’s gonna take ya a good while to play through it, whether you’re just rushin’ to the end or tryin’ to see everythin’. So, make sure you got plenty of time on your hands, and maybe a comfy chair. And don’t forget to take breaks! Go outside, get some fresh air, eat somethin’ besides them chips and soda. Your old grandma here is tellin’ ya, that’s important.
So, how long is Hades 2? Well, it’s long enough to keep you busy for a good while, that’s for sure. Just how long depends on how you play it. But whatever you do, don’t forget to blink once in a while, alright? These games can make your eyes go all wonky.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got a pie in the oven.
