Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure this whole Stephen Harper model Atlanta thing out, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I got interested in modeling, so I figured, why not give it a shot in Atlanta? It’s a big city, with lots of opportunities, you know?
First, I did some digging online. I found this agency, Boost Models, that seemed pretty legit. They said they help amateur models get started, so I was like, “Alright, let’s see what this is about.” I checked out their website, reading everything I could find.
They asked for some basic stuff, like snapshots, headshots, and full-length images. No makeup, just natural. It’s a bit nerve-wracking, putting yourself out there like that, you know?
- So, I got a friend to help me take some pictures.
- We tried different angles, different lighting, just trying to get some decent shots.
- It was kinda fun, actually, playing around with poses and stuff.
I noticed there’s this guy, Stephen Harper, mentioned online. Apparently, he’s 6’2″ and works on the West Coast. I thought maybe I could learn something from someone who has already made a career. He looked great in the pictures I found.
Then I started thinking about the bigger picture. This whole modeling thing isn’t just about taking pictures, right? It’s about finding your passion and developing skills. There are experts out there who can teach you stuff, so I started looking into that too.
I found a bunch of articles about modeling agencies in Atlanta. I saw names like Select Model Management and a list of other modeling brands in different cities. It seemed like joining an agency is a good way to get your foot in the door. Also, it looked like Atlanta is a solid option for a freelance model.
But I’m still not sure about the whole agency thing. I mean, can you have a solid career as a freelance model? Seems like it’s possible, but it’s probably a lot more work, right? You’d have to hustle, network, and build your own brand. That feels like so much to do, especially when you’re just starting out.
Anyway, that’s where I’m at right now. Still learning, still exploring. I’m gonna keep digging, maybe try to connect with some people in the industry, and see where this takes me. It’s a bit overwhelming, but also kinda exciting. You never know, right?
What I did
I read some articles, checked out agencies’ websites, and took some pictures to figure out if this is something I want to pursue further. I also researched a few successful models to see what they did to get to where they are now. After that, I tried to find some online classes to learn more about the modeling industry.
It was quite a journey, but I had fun. I will continue to search for more information and connections to get closer to my goals.
