Okay, let’s talk about this Dobbs guy on the Vikings. Man, what a wild ride it’s been with this dude!

So, I started paying more attention when I heard he was getting traded, like, for the second time this year. I thought, “What’s the deal with this guy?” Turns out, he’s pretty darn interesting.
First off, I dug into his stats a bit. In one game, the guy completed, like, 20 out of 30 passes. Not too shabby, right? And he threw for 158 yards, plus he ran for another 66. That’s what they call a dual-threat, I guess. Oh, and he scored three touchdowns. But, yeah, he also fumbled the ball a couple of times.
Then, I watched some videos, I watched a few videos of people talking about him. There’s this one guy, I think his name was Matthew Coller, he was breaking down Dobbs’s first three weeks with the Vikings. He was saying how Dobbs might stick around with the team for a while, which got me thinking even more.
I even saw a clip of Dobbs himself talking after a game. It was right after they beat the Falcons, and he seemed pretty chill about the whole thing. He’s got this cool, calm vibe about him, you know?
- He is a dual threat guy.
- He’s good at scrambling. They say he’s even better than some of the big-name quarterbacks when it comes to scrambling.
- He started his post-game press conference after his team beat the Atlanta Falcons.
- First start at US Bank Stadium.
And get this, I read somewhere that out of all these quarterbacks, like 40 of them, including some really famous ones, Dobbs is ranked number one in something called “scrambling EPA.” I’m not even sure what that means exactly, but it sounds impressive!

So, I decided to watch him play in that game at the US Bank Stadium. It was his first start there, and it was something else. I mean, he really makes those games exciting to watch.
So yeah, that’s my little journey following Josh Dobbs. He’s definitely a player to watch. It’s gonna be interesting to see what he does next.
