I reckon she’s gotta be strong, you know? Swinging them clubs all day, walkin’ all over them fancy golf courses. It ain’t like sittin’ on the porch shellin’ peas, that’s for sure. She probably eats healthy too. My grandson, he’s always goin’ on about protein and whatnot. Says you need it to be strong. Maybe Jessica eats a lot of that protein stuff.

This Jessica, she turned pro back in 2010. That’s a long time ago, seems like. She must’ve been just a young thing then. Imagine, going out there and competing against all them other golfers. Must take a lot of guts. And practice, I guess. Lots and lots of practice.

And wouldn’t ya know it, she’s got sponsors too, like this “Taylor Made” company. Sounds fancy. They probably give her all sorts of fancy equipment and clothes. Must be nice to have folks payin’ for your gear. Back in my day, we just used what we had, and we made do. But that’s how it is these days, I guess. Big money in sports, they say.

They got this thing called the LPGA Tour, and Jessica, she plays on it. That’s where all the best lady golfers go, I hear. They travel all over the place, playin’ in different tournaments. Must be excitin’, but also tiring, I bet. All that travelin’ and competin’. Makes my old bones ache just thinkin’ about it.

Now, I heard tell of another golfer, Lexi Thompson. They say she’s even taller than Jessica, a whole six foot! Imagine that! These girls are like giants! And they say the average height for them lady golfers is only 5′ 6″. So, Jessica and Lexi, they’re towering over the rest of ‘em, I reckon.

And just for gossip sake, I heard that Lexi Thompson got hitched last December. Married her fella, Johnny DelPrete. Good for her, I say. Findin’ a good man is important, even if you’re a fancy golfer. Don’t know if Jessica’s married or not. Ain’t my place to pry. But it’s always nice to see young folks findin’ love, ain’t it?
