Alright, let’s talk about how I pulled off the ultimate Randy Orton the other day. It wasn’t easy, but man, was it satisfying.
So, first, I got this whole idea in my head that I wanted to master his moves, you know? Not just any move, but the RKO. I mean, that’s like, his thing. So I started by watching a ton of his matches. Just studying how he moves, how he sets things up.
- I watched a lot about his RKO, like they say it comes “out of nowhere”.
- I remembered they also call it the “best finishing move in WWE history”.
- I found a clip talking about “Randy Orton’s Top 5 RKOs”. That was gold.
Then, the actual practice began. I started with some basic jumps, just getting the feel for the motion. I did find out that the RKO is kind of like the “Diamond Cutter” which i think was also used by Diamond Dallas Page, but Orton, he really took it to another level.
I tried to mimic that jumping, twisting motion, over and over again. I also remember to practice that “Garvin Stomp”, which I saw was innovated by a Ron Garvin guy. That looks like it hurts! Anyway, I practiced that too, just to get into the whole Randy Orton vibe.
Then it was time to put it all together. I set up a makeshift landing area – a bunch of pillows, for safety. Then I just went for it. It was rough at first. I landed on my face a few times, banged my knee pretty bad once, and thought my body was broken. But I kept at it. I practiced more and more.
Finally, I nailed it. I got that jump, that twist, that landing. I felt like Randy Orton himself, finally get the “ultimate” move down. It felt awesome! I got the full experience. From the “Garvin Stomp”, which really was from Ron Garvin, to the epic “out of nowhere” RKO, I did it all. And man, I gotta say, it’s way harder than it looks. But it’s also way more satisfying when you finally get it right.
After that experience, I can see why his RKO is one of the most exciting finishers. It’s just so sudden and impactful. Now, I just need to find someone to practice it on… just kidding! Or am I?
