Okay, let’s talk about Trish Stratus and Chris Jericho. I’ve been digging into this whole thing, and it’s a pretty wild ride from start to finish.
So, back in the day, around 2003-2004, I started following this storyline where Trish Stratus and Chris Jericho were getting involved. It all kicked off on an episode of Raw, I think it was the October 13th, 2003 show. They started interacting, and man, it was clear something was brewing. I watched every week, seeing how this thing between them was developing. Then they added Christian into the mix.
Things got pretty intense, and it all built up to WrestleMania XX. I made sure I got the best seat in the house for that one—well, metaphorically speaking, right in front of my TV, best seat. I was watching Jericho and Christian go at it, and it was a killer match. Jericho even pulled off a superplex on Christian. I was on the edge of my seat!
But then came the shocker. Trish, out of nowhere, turned on Jericho and sided with Christian. I was like, “What?!” I mean, I saw it coming maybe a little, with all of Trish’s heel turns in the past, but it still hit me hard. She said Christian was a “real man” and called Jericho a “love sick puppy.” Ouch, right? I felt that one, even though it wasn’t me. It was a classic wrestling betrayal, and I ate it up.
After that, I kept an eye on what was happening with them. I read up on some other stuff, like how Trish also had a thing with Jeff Hardy—twice, actually. Both times it didn’t stick, especially the first one in 2001 because Trish got injured. I remember that; it was all over the forums.
Then, fast forward to when AEW started up. This was a game-changer. I heard Jericho left WWE because he got a better deal with AEW, more money, and more control over his character. It made sense. I always thought he was super valuable, you know, a real legend. And with AEW, he really got to show what he’s made of. I was all for it, cheering him on from the sidelines.

What’s Next?
Recently, I noticed Trish’s profile moved to the Hall of Fame section on WWE’s site. Makes sense, she’s a legend. But she hasn’t been in the ring since that match with Becky Lynch at Payback. I was there, in spirit, of course. She did pop up on TV, hosting Money in the Bank and introducing John Cena, which was cool. I always make sure to catch those moments.
So, that’s my take on the whole Trish Stratus and Chris Jericho saga. It’s been a wild ride, full of ups and downs, just like any good wrestling story should be. I’ve been there for it all, watching, cheering, and sometimes yelling at the TV. Good times.
