Okay, here’s my take on the “Chubb or Pollard” fantasy football dilemma, shared in my usual down-to-earth, just-telling-you-how-it-went style:

Alright, so I had this major headache going into my fantasy draft this year: Chubb or Pollard? Both running backs, both looked like they could be beasts. I spent way too long staring at my computer screen, probably annoying my wife in the process.
The Research Rabbit Hole
First, I dove into the stats. Last year’s numbers, projected points for this year, you name it. I looked at their teams’ offensive lines – who’s blocking for these guys? Are they gonna get squashed every play, or do they have some room to run?
- Checked out a bunch of fantasy football websites.
- Read some articles, watched some videos… I felt like a detective, digging for clues.
- Injuries…had any one had previous problems?
I needed more info, so I dug deeper. What kind of offenses are these guys playing in? Are they run-heavy teams, or do they like to throw the ball a million times a game? That makes a huge difference for a running back’s fantasy value.
The Agonizing Decision
After all that digging, I still felt stuck. Both guys looked good! But in the end, I went with my gut feeling, what I have watched and seen from them. Pollard,it is. He just seemed like he had a bit more upside, a bit more potential to explode for huge games. Chubb is solid, reliable, but I felt like Pollard had a higher ceiling.
Living with the Choice
Now, it’s mid-season, and I’m watching every game, second-guessing myself. Did I make the right call? Pollard’s doing okay, some good weeks, some not-so-good weeks. Same with Chubb,It’s a rollercoaster!

The truth is, in fantasy football, you never really know. You make the best decision you can with the information you have, and then you just gotta hope for the best. And maybe yell at the TV a little bit. Or a lot.
I am happy with my decision, so far so good. I will keep track of my decision, and update it later.
