Okay, so I’ve been messing around with different attack strategies in Clash of Clans at Town Hall 11, and I wanted to share what’s been working for me. It’s not super complicated, but it’s been pretty consistent for getting those three stars.

My Go-To Army Comp
First, I build my army. I usually go with something like this:
- Bowlers: Lots of them, like 20-24. These guys are the main damage dealers.
- Healers: 5-6. They keep the bowlers alive, obviously.
- Giants/Wall breakers: 6-8. They tank the damage and breaking those walls!
- Wizards: 3-4 of them. clear up some buildlings out of the base.
- Spells: Mostly rage spells and a couple of heal spells. Maybe a jump spell if the base is spread out.
- Clan Castle: Usually more bowlers or maybe some giants, depending on what my clanmates donate.
The Attack Itself
So, here’s how I do it. It’s all about the funnel, really.
- Scout:I always check the base first. Figure where to deploy and how to break the wall.
- Make the way: I use giants and bowlers to clear out some buildings on the outside. This is crucial. It makes sure my main force goes into the base, not around it.I don’t want my bowlers wandering off and getting picked off.
- Deploy the Main Force: Once the funnel is set, I drop the rest of the bowlers and the Grand Warden (if you have him, which you should at TH11).I put the healers behind them, of course.
- Spells at the Right Time: I use rage spells when my troops are engaging the core defenses, like the Eagle Artillery or Inferno Towers. Heal spells are for when the bowlers are taking a lot of splash damage.
- Clean Up: If I have any troops left over, I use them to pick off any remaining buildings.
I learned this the hard way. I used to just dump all my troops in one spot and hope for the best. It didn’t work very well. I would get like, one star, maybe two if I was lucky. Once I started focusing on creating that funnel, my attacks got way better.
It takes practice, though. You gotta get a feel for how the bowlers will move and where to place your spells. But once you get the hang of it, it’s a pretty solid strategy. At least, it has been for me. Keep smashing those bases!
