Today, I decided to collect some Lumitoile in Genshin Impact. I heard these things are scattered around, so I figured it might take a little while. I started my hunt near Mont Esus East.
Getting Started
First, I teleported to the Mont Esus East Waypoint. From there, I walked south towards the shore. I found two Lumitoiles there. Pretty easy start, right? I thought this was going to be a piece of cake.
Exploring the Lake
- Next, I moved to the Source of all Waters: Great Fontaine Lake.
- I found three more Lumitoiles in the lake.
- It was a bit of a swim, but I got them.
Running Low
After scouring the area, I realized there weren’t that many Lumitoiles to begin with. It turns out they’re mostly found between Mont Esus and the Fontaine Research Institute. I was a bit bummed because I needed more to ascend Clorinde and Neuvillette. Apparently, there are only about 79 of these things on the map.
Waiting Game
Then I found out the worst part – Lumitoiles only respawn every 48 hours! Yep, you heard that right, 48 real-time hours. So, after collecting what I could, I just had to wait. It’s a bit frustrating when you’re trying to level up your characters, but what can you do?
The Plan
Since I have to wait, I planned out my next steps. I marked the locations I already visited and figured out where to go next time. I need a lot more of these Lumitoiles, so I gotta be efficient. I can’t wait to upgrade Clorinde and Neuvillette!
That’s all for today’s adventure. I hope sharing my little journey helps some of you out there. It’s not as simple as I thought, but it’s still a fun part of the game.
