Alright, so I wanted to mess around with this Grom guy in Brawl Stars. I heard he was pretty good, so I figured, why not? I jumped into the game and started playing a few rounds with him.
First off, I just played him without any specific build, just to get a feel. He felt kinda strong, you know? His HP was solid, and that star power of his, X-Factor, it seemed like it could be really useful. I didn’t really know what I was doing, but I was still winning some games. He wasn’t like, broken overpowered or anything, just, solid, you know?
Then I looked up some builds online. Found this one build that someone named Rougeravager made, they called it the “Best Grom Build”. I don’t know about “best”, but it sounded interesting. It used the Radio Check gadget and the X-Factor star power.
Trying the build out
So, I equipped the Radio Check gadget and the X-Factor star power, just like the build said. It felt different, for sure. I started to understand how this Grom guy was supposed to be played. Radio Check, it let me check bushes and see enemies hiding there, which was pretty neat.
I played a bunch more games with this setup. It was fun, I won’t lie. I was winning more consistently, and I felt like I was actually getting good with Grom. I wasn’t just throwing bombs randomly anymore, I was thinking about where to throw them, how to use my Super, and all that. The X-Factor, man, that thing is a game-changer. The extra damage it gives really makes a difference.
It did make a difference
I played a few different maps, too. Some maps, Grom just felt amazing on. Like, the ones with lots of walls and choke points, he’s a beast there. You can just control the whole area with your bombs. But on more open maps, it was a bit trickier. Still good, but you gotta be more careful.
All in all, messing around with Grom and that build was a blast. He’s definitely a strong brawler, and with the right setup, he can be a real force. I’m still learning, still figuring things out, but it’s been a fun ride so far. I’d recommend giving Grom a try if you haven’t already, he’s worth it.
