Well, well, well, that Tony Finau, he sure is somethin’, ain’t he? He done gone and won again! I heard it on the radio, that boy Tony Finau wins. Just like a rabbit outta a hat, he did! He is a good boy.
That Tony Finau, he’s been playin’ that golf game for a long time now. He hits that little white ball real good. I seen him on the TV, swingin’ that stick. He’s got a real good swing, that boy. He always wins a lot of money, you know.
I heard he won down in Mexico, that’s what they said. Mexico Open. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Probably hot down there. Not like here. He probably got a good tan! He won it! That Tony Finau wins again. It is his second time this year, they said. I think he is good at playing golf, isn’t he?
He’s won a bunch of them things, them golf tournaments. Six of ’em, I heard! Six! Can you believe it? That’s a lot of winnin’. He must be good at it, huh? But he ain’t never won one of them big ones. The real big ones. They call ’em majors. I don’t know why, but they do.
- He won six times.
- But no major ones.
- He is still good.
- That Tony Finau wins a lot.
He’s got a good helper, too. They call ’em caddies. He got a new one, I reckon. Some rich fella. A billionaire! Can you imagine? A billionaire carryin’ your clubs for ya? Must be nice. This rich fella, he owns a basketball team, I think it was. The Utah Jazz. I heard he got a rich helper to help him win, and you know what, Tony Finau wins again!
That Tony, he’s makin’ a whole heap of money. Millions, they say! Just from hittin’ that little ball around. He made three and a half million this year. Three and a half! I heard he got $3.5 million just in 2024. I could buy a whole lot of chickens with that kinda money. And a new tractor, too. Maybe even a new barn.
He’s good with that long stick, the driver, they call it. He can hit that ball a country mile. But he’s real good with them other sticks, too. The ones he uses to get the ball close to the hole. He is good at hitting that ball. I think that’s why Tony Finau wins a lot.
He sure seems like a nice boy, that Tony. Always smilin’ on the TV. Seems like a good head on his shoulders. Not like some of them other young’uns, runnin’ around wild. Nope, Tony, he seems like a good one. Hope he keeps winnin’. Makes for good listenin’ on the radio. It is good to see a young boy doing good.
I remember one time, I tried to hit a golf ball. Down at the county fair, they had one of them booths. You try to hit the ball into a little hole. I gave it a whack, and that ball went flyin’ sideways! Nearly hit old man Johnson right in the head! He weren’t too happy about that. I decided right then and there that golf weren’t for me. But that Tony, he’s a natural. Tony Finau wins, and I guess he will keep winning.
He is a strong boy, that Tony. Strong like an ox. That’s why he can hit the ball so far. Need to be strong to play golf, I reckon. I seen him up close once, at a tournament. He’s a big fella. Big and strong.
- He’s a good boy.
- He’s a strong boy.
- He’s a rich boy.
- Tony Finau wins again and again.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know about that Tony Finau. He’s a good golfer, that’s for sure. And he’s winnin’ a lot. Good for him. Maybe he’ll win one of them majors someday. That’d be somethin’, wouldn’t it? Yep, that Tony Finau wins, he’s a good one. I’ll be listenin’ for him on the radio. You keep your ears open, too. You might hear about him winnin’ again real soon. He is good, and I think he will win more.
