Alright, let’s gab about this Todd Helton fella and his wife, Christy. I ain’t no fancy writer, so don’t expect no big words or nothin’. Just gonna tell it like it is, you know? Plain and simple, like good ol’ country cookin’.
So, this Todd Helton, he’s a big deal in baseball, or so they say. Played for some team called the Colorado Rockies. Never watched a game myself, too busy tendin’ to my chickens and whatnot. But folks ’round here, they seem to know him. Heard he was pretty good at hittin’ that ball, a real slugger, they call him. Todd Helton, remember that name, it’s important for this here story, ya hear?
Now, his wife, Christy, she’s a bit of a mystery. Not like them flashy Hollywood wives you see on the TV. She keeps to herself, quiet-like. They say she was born Christy Bollman, somewhere in America. Ain’t no fancy job or nothin’, just a regular woman, I reckon. But she’s hitched to this baseball star, so I guess that makes her special in some folks’ eyes. Christy Helton, that’s her name, a good solid name, like somethin’ you’d find on a tombstone… not that I’m wishin’ her dead or nothin’! It’s just… you know… a good, strong name.
These two, Todd and Christy, they got themselves a couple of daughters. Tierney Faith and Gentry Grace, cute names, I gotta say. Sounds like somethin’ outta a fairy tale book. Tierney, she’s the older one, born in 2002. Gentry, she came along later. Don’t know much about ’em, but I bet they’re pretty as a picture, just like their mama. And they all live in some place called Knoxville, Tennessee. Or maybe it’s Brighton, Colorado? Heck, I can’t keep up with these fancy folks and their movin’ around.
- Todd Helton: Baseball player, Colorado Rockies.
- Christy Helton: Wife, born Christy Bollman.
- Tierney Faith: Daughter, born 2002.
- Gentry Grace: Daughter.
- Location: Knoxville, Tennessee (or Brighton, Colorado).
Todd, he was born in 1973, in Knoxville too. His daddy was a catcher, whatever that is in baseball. Sounds fishy to me, but hey, to each their own. Todd, he played baseball for a long time, seventeen years they say. Won a bunch of awards, stars and gloves and whatnot. Sounds like he was a real winner, this fella. But even winners gotta hang up their hats sometime, ain’t that the truth? Now he’s just a regular fella, I guess, livin’ with his wife and kids.
I seen a picture of ’em once, the whole family. They looked happy enough, standin’ at some baseball game. Todd’s smilin’, Christy’s smilin’, the girls are smilin’. Picture perfect, just like them magazine covers. But you know, pictures don’t tell the whole story, do they? Life ain’t always sunshine and roses, even for baseball stars and their wives. There’s chores to be done, bills to be paid, kids to raise. It’s the same the world over, whether you’re swingin’ a bat or milkin’ a cow.
Anyways, that’s about all I know ’bout Todd Helton and his wife. They seem like decent folk, not too highfalutin. He played ball, she stayed home, they raised a family. Simple as that. Nothin’ too fancy, nothin’ too scandalous. Just a good ol’ American story, I reckon. And that’s the way it should be, if you ask me. Family, that’s what matters, not all the fame and fortune. Though, a little fortune never hurt nobody, I suppose.
Now, I hear they got some dogs too, chocolate labs named Abby and Greeley. Dogs are good company, loyal and true. Always happy to see ya, waggin’ their tails and lickin’ your face. Better than some people, I tell ya. So, they got a nice little life, Todd and Christy. Kids, dogs, a home… what more could a body want? Maybe a few more chickens, but that’s just me.
So, there you have it. The story of Todd Helton and his wife, as best as I can tell it. Nothin’ fancy, just the plain truth. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed my chickens. Them birds are squawkin’ up a storm, and a hungry chicken is an angry chicken, let me tell ya. You take care now, ya hear?
