That Stephen Curry, he sure can play basketball, huh? My grandson, he watches him all the time. He says, “Grandma, look at Steph Curry!” And I say, “Who in the tarnation is that?” But I watch with him sometimes. He’s that one boy, always makin’ those baskets from way far out. They call them three-pointers, you know. And this boy, he makes a lot of ’em! But you know what I was a-wonderin’? What color are that boy’s eyes?
I was squintin’ at the TV, tryin’ to see. My eyes ain’t what they used to be. Need to get new glasses, I reckon. But that Stephen Curry eye color, it’s hard to tell on that little screen. Seems like they’re kinda light, ain’t they? My grandson, he says they’re, uh… what’s that word? Hazel? He says that means kinda light brown. Could be.
I heard someone say he had some kinda trouble with his eyes. Wears them, uh, contact lens things now. They say it helps him see better. Well, I reckon it does! He sure can see that basket good, can’t he? Shoot, he was already good before those lens things, shootin’ better than most. They said he was hitting them three-pointers like 42.9% of the time. That’s almost half! Imagine that.
Now, my eyes, they used to be blue. Like the summer sky, back when I was a young’un. But they kinda faded now, like an old pair of jeans. That one boy, Canon Curry, he has blue eyes, just like my old eyes. And his mama, Ayesha, my grandson tells me all about her, she’s got green eyes. Pretty lady, that one.
This Stephen Curry, he’s got a sickness in his eyes, I heard. Ker-something. Kerato-conus, that’s it! Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? Makes his eyes shaped funny, I guess. But them contact things, they help him see real good. Now he plays better than ever.
- He’s a good boy, that Stephen Curry.
- Plays for that Golden State team.
- Makes lots of them three-pointers.
- They say he’s the best at shootin’ the ball.
- And his eyes, well, they say they’re light brown.
I remember one time, I was watchin’ the TV, and they said he was answerin’ questions. Someone asked him about his eye color, right there on the TV! He said they were light brown. So I guess my grandson was right. He’s a smart boy, that one. Knows all about these basketball players.
You wouldn’t think a boy with eye trouble could play so good, would ya? He’s only, what, 31? Still young, really. But he’s been playin’ for a long time, I reckon. And all that time, he couldn’t see as good as he can now. Just goes to show ya, don’t it? Even if you got somethin’ wrong with ya, you can still do great things.
They say he’s the best shooter ever. Ever! In the whole history of basketball. That’s a mighty big thing to say, ain’t it? But I reckon it’s true. I seen him play. He’s somethin’ else. And to think, he did it all with that eye trouble. That Keratoconus.
So, yeah, Stephen Curry eye color is light brown. Like a, uh… like a light brown… well, somethin’ light brown! Maybe like a pecan shell. Or a weak cup of coffee. He’s a good boy though, that Stephen Curry. Even if he does need them contact things to see good. He can still play basketball better than anyone.
I am still wondering how them contacts help him see better. He used to shoot good with his eyes. But they are sayin’ those things help a lot. I reckon they must, he never misses a basket. I am gonna ask my grandson if he knows. That boy, he knows everything about these people.
