Yo, listen up, you young folks! Which one is better, this David Njoku or that Kyle Pitts? I heard these names from my grandson, he plays that football thing, you know? He always talks about who to “start”, I don’t know what that means. They are both in that TE position. Which one, Kyle Pitts or David Njoku, should I tell him to pick? I want him to win, you see. He keeps talking about “fantasy football”, “PPR”, I don’t understand.
That David Njoku, seems like a strong fella. Big and tough, I reckon. He plays for that Cleveland team. I saw him on the TV once, jumping around, catching the ball. He’s got good numbers, I guess, that’s what the little box says. My grandson says he’s been doing real good lately. Says he’s getting lots of “targets.” Whatever that means. Sounds like hunting or something. Maybe he’s good at catching, like a good hunting dog.
Then there’s this Kyle Pitts fella. He’s on that Atlanta team. Another strong boy. Seems like he was a big deal a few years back, everyone was talking about him. But now, I don’t know. My grandson seems worried about him. Says he’s not getting the ball enough. Says the quarterback, that’s the guy who throws the ball, isn’t giving him enough chances.
They both play that Tight End position. I looked that up on my phone, you know. I’m learning. It means they catch and block or something like that. I saw that on the TV, so I guess it is right. This whole “fantasy football” thing is confusing. You pick players, and they get points. Like a game, but with real people. I don’t know why they don’t just play real football. Seems simpler to me.
So, David Njoku or Kyle Pitts? Who’s the better pick? Who’s gonna get more of those “points”? This year, it looks like David Njoku got more points. It is not much, but more is more, right? It’s hard to know. It’s like picking which watermelon is sweeter, ain’t it? You just gotta look at ’em, thump ’em a bit, and hope for the best. Sometimes, the one you think is good is not good. And the one you think is not good, is good.
Here’s a thing I found on my phone:
- David Njoku, Cleveland Browns.
- Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons.
I guess if you want a guy who’s been doing good lately, that David Njoku seems like the one. He’s getting the ball, he’s scoring points. That’s what you want, right? You want the guy who’s gonna get you the most points. Like picking the chicken that lays the most eggs. You want the one that’s gonna give you the most. The best one. More is good. More points mean you win.
But that Kyle Pitts, he’s got potential, they say. Like a young horse, still got some growing to do. Maybe next year he’ll be the one. Maybe they’ll start throwing him the ball more. It’s a gamble, I reckon. Like planting seeds, you never know which one will sprout the best. This year, David Njoku seems like the better one. But next year, who knows?
This whole thing is a lot like life, ain’t it? You gotta make choices, you gotta take chances. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. You just gotta keep going, keep trying. And hope for the best. That’s all you can do. Just like in that fantasy football. You pick your players, you hope they do good, and you see what happens. It’s just a game, like my grandson plays.
My grandson also showed me something on his phone. Seems like some folks, they call ’em “experts”, they think David Njoku is the better pick too. They got all sorts of reasons, all sorts of numbers. I don’t understand all of it, but they seem to know what they’re talking about. They do this for a living, I guess. They know more than me. I only know about picking the best watermelon.
So, if I had to tell my grandson, I’d say, “Pick that David Njoku, honey. He seems to be doing better now. But that Kyle Pitts, he might be good later. Maybe keep an eye on him.” David Njoku or Kyle Pitts? This year, I would choose David Njoku. That’s what I’d say. That’s all an old lady like me can figure out. I hope he wins that game. It makes him happy. I like it when he is happy. He is a good boy. But he should play outside more instead of on that phone.
