Alright, so I wanted to mess around with Yoshitsune and Zoma in Soul Hackers 2. I’ve been seeing some crazy builds online, and I figured I’d give it a shot myself. It took some time, and, man, was it a process.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed to actually get Yoshitsune. That meant grinding through the game, hitting up the Cirque du Goumaden, and fusing a bunch of demons. It’s not like he just appears, you know? I spent a good chunk of time just combining demons, trying to get the right skills inherited.
And Zoma? Well, Zoma’s a bit easier since it’s a base-level demon, but still essential to the whole setup. The whole point is having a demon with massive HP, and Zoma fits the bill perfectly.
The Fusion Grind
The real headache started when I was trying to get the right skills onto Yoshitsune. I was aiming for that classic Physical build, so I needed stuff like “High Phys Pleroma” and “Drain Phys.” I swear, I spent hours in the fusion menu, backing out, re-entering, checking which demons had which skills. It was like playing a really complicated slot machine where the payout was a slightly better attack skill.
- Yoshitsune Fusion: I was trying to get a good combo from many demons. It was tough!
- Skill Inheritance: This was the real pain. Getting the right skills to pass down was pure RNG (random number generation). I was constantly saving and reloading.
Optimizing Zoma
While Yoshitsune was the star of the show, I couldn’t neglect Zoma. I needed to make sure it had enough HP to survive some serious hits. So, I fused it with some other demons, focusing on boosting its Vitality stat and making sure to inherit HP-boosting skills. It wasn’t as intense as Yoshitsune’s fusion, but it still took some planning.
I try to make Zoma strong with Vitality skills.

Putting It All Together
Once I finally had my Yoshitsune and Zoma, it was time to see if all that grinding was worth it. I slapped them into my party and took them for a spin. And… yeah, it was pretty awesome. Yoshitsune was tearing through enemies, and Zoma was tanking hits like a champ. It definitely felt like all that time in the fusion menu paid off.
The Takeaway
Building a strong Yoshitsune and Zoma in Soul Hackers 2 is not a quick process. It takes time, patience, and a whole lot of luck with skill inheritance. But, when it all comes together, it’s incredibly satisfying. If you’re up for the challenge, I say go for it! Just be prepared to spend some serious time in the Cirque du Goumaden.
