Okay, so, I was looking into getting “Soul Hackers 2,” and let me tell you, it got a bit confusing with the different editions. There’s this “Digital Premium Edition” and a “Deluxe” one, and I was like, “What’s the actual difference?”
First, I started by checking out what each version had. The Digital Premium Edition, it’s the most expensive one. I found that it has the full game, obviously. Then, it comes with a “Bonus Story Arc” called “The Lost Numbers.” Sounds cool, right? Plus, it includes a bunch of extra stuff like a “Bonus Demon Pack,” some “Costume & BGM Pack,” a “Pre-Order Bonus,” and a “Mary’s Maid Frock Outfit.” Lots of outfits, it seems.
Then I looked at the Deluxe Edition. This one is a bit cheaper. It also has the full game, no surprise there. But instead of all that extra stuff, it only includes the “Booster Item Pack” and the “Pre-Order Bonus.”
So, I started comparing them. The main difference is really that “Bonus Story Arc” and all those extra costumes and music. I thought, “Do I really need all that?” I mean, the story arc sounds interesting, but is it worth the extra money? The costumes are just for looks, right?
- Digital Premium Edition has:
- Full Game
- Bonus Story Arc: The Lost Numbers
- Bonus Demon Pack
- Costume & BGM Pack
- Pre-Order Bonus
- Mary’s Maid Frock Outfit
- Deluxe Edition has:
- Full Game
- Booster Item Pack
- Pre-Order Bonus
I spent some time reading reviews and watching some gameplay. I wanted to see if people who got the Premium Edition thought it was worth it. Some said the extra story was pretty good, others said it wasn’t that big of a deal.
Finally, I made my decision. I decided to go with the Deluxe Edition. It was cheaper, and honestly, I’m more interested in the main game than the extra stuff. The “Booster Item Pack” in the Deluxe Edition, it seemed like it would be helpful in the game, giving me a little head start.
In the end, it comes down to what you want. If you’re a huge fan and want every little bit of content, then maybe the Premium Edition is for you. But if you’re like me and just want to enjoy the main game without spending too much extra, the Deluxe Edition is a solid choice.
