Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “signed Jon Jones” stuff popping up everywhere, and I finally decided to dive in and figure out what the deal was. My collection is lacking some serious UFC memorabilia, I have to do something.
The Hunt Begins
First, I started with a simple google search. Just typed in “signed Jon Jones” and, boom, tons of stuff came up. Autographed gloves, photos, posters… you name it. It was a little overwhelming, honestly.
I narrowed it down by adding “authentic” to my search. Didn’t want to end up with some fake signature. That brought up a bunch of sites specializing in sports memorabilia, which seemed like a safer bet than, say, just grabbing something off a random online auction.
Digging Deeper
Next, I spent some time looking at different items. There were signed gloves, which were pretty cool, but also super expensive. Then I saw some signed photos, which were more in my price range. I found one I really liked – a shot of him mid-fight, looking fierce. Classic Jones.
I focused on the signature itself. Did it look legit? I compared it to some known authentic signatures I found online. It seemed to match up pretty well, but I’m no expert. All in all, It’s really hard to identify, after all, I’m a new hand.
Making the Move
Finally, I decided to go for it. I added the signed photo to my cart, double-checked the seller’s ratings (they seemed good), and hit that “buy” button. Now, the waiting game begins!
The Result(Fingers Crossed!)
I should be getting it in a few days. I’m excited, but also a little nervous. Hope it’s the real deal! Once I get it, I’ll probably frame it and put it up in my man cave. It’ll be a sweet addition to the collection, I can feel it.
