So, I got my hands on NBA 2K23, season 9. You know, the last one for this game. I heard it was dropping on August 11th, and I was, like, I gotta check this out.
First, I started the game and headed straight to MyTeam. I wanted to see what new stuff they had. The first thing I did was navigate to the Season menu. I clicked on the Season 9 tile on the main menu to get access to the new contents. Man, there’s a bunch of Kobe Bryant-themed stuff in MyCareer and The City. Pretty cool, you know?
- First, I started with MyCareer. I was grinding, trying to unlock those rewards.
- I played a few games, tried to get some Skill Boosts.
- Checked out the Core Badge Patterns. You can really change up your gameplay with these.
Then I moved on to The City. It’s huge, and there’s so much to do. I spent hours just exploring, finding new stuff. They really went all out for this last season. I mean, it’s the final season of NBA 2K23, they had to, right?
Grinding for Rewards
I remembered reading somewhere that the season started around 8 AM PST. I was on right when it launched, so I didn’t miss a thing. I spent the whole day just playing, trying to get all the rewards.
They got everything from cosmetic stuff like t-shirts to those Skill Boosts and Core Badge Patterns I mentioned earlier. It is a good mix, and it kept me hooked. To be honest, I haven’t put it down since.
Overall, I’d say Season 9 is a solid end to NBA 2K23. They packed it with content. I had a blast playing through it. If you’re a fan, you definitely don’t want to miss this one.
So there you have it. That’s my experience with NBA 2K23 Season 9. It’s been a wild ride, but all good things must come to an end, right? Now we just wait for what they’re gonna do with 2K24. Hopefully, it’s just as good, if not better.
