Alright, so I gotta talk about this Sean Strickland fight. Man, what a snoozefest! Seriously, I was so hyped for this one, thinking it was gonna be a banger. I even got my snacks ready and everything, all set for a night of some good ol’ fashioned violence.
So, I started watching, and it was just… nothing. Strickland, this dude’s known for being a bit wild, right? But this time, it was like watching paint dry. He just kept his distance, throwing these little jabs, not really committing to anything. It was a real letdown, to be honest.
I kept waiting for something to happen, some big exchange, maybe a takedown, anything! But nope, just more of the same. Poke, poke, move around, poke some more. The other guy, Du Plessis, wasn’t much better. He seemed content to just play along with this boring dance. It’s like both of them forgot they were in a fight.

It was supposed to be a big deal, this fight, you know? Like, title implications and all that. But honestly, it felt like a waste of time. No action, no excitement, just two guys circling each other for what felt like forever.
A Total Waste
And the worst part is, Strickland actually won! Can you believe it? He won by doing practically nothing. I guess that’s one way to do it, but it ain’t my style. And the crowd, man, they were not happy. You could hear the boos, the whistles. It’s like everyone felt the same way, totally ripped off.
I ended up just turning it off. Couldn’t take it anymore. I went and did something more productive, like, I don’t know, staring at a wall. It was probably more exciting than that fight. I don’t know, I hope this is just an off night for Strickland. He’s better than this. We all want to see some action, some passion. Not this… this boring fight.
