Alright, let’s talk about this Scottie Scheffler fella and whether he’s playin’ golf this weekend. You know, I ain’t no expert, but I hear things from the TV and the young’uns in the village. They always jabberin’ ’bout sports and such.
So, from what I gather, this Scottie guy, he’s a big deal in the golfin’ world. Real big shot, they say. Seems like he’s always winnin’ somethin’ or other. They call him the “World No. 1” or somethin’ like that. Fancy, huh?

- They said he wants to keep playin’ until his baby comes. His wife’s gonna have a little one, ain’t that sweet? He said golf ain’t his top priority, but he likes competin’. Good for him, I say. Family’s more important than any ol’ golf game, that’s for sure.
- I also heard somethin’ about a “Presidents Cup” in Canada. That’s gonna be in September, though. So, not this weekend.
Now, about this weekend specifically… It’s a bit tricky, you see. These golfers, they got schedules like a rooster crowin’ – all over the place and hard to predict. Sometimes they play, sometimes they don’t. And they don’t always tell us plain folk when and where.
But from what I’ve pieced together, it sounds like he played recently at the “Hero World Challenge” in December and he is planning on playing up until his baby arrives at the end of the month. So, if there’s a big tournament this weekend, there’s a good chance he’s playin’. He seems to like playin’, this Scottie fella. And if there ain’t no big tournament, well, maybe he’s takin’ a break, spendin’ time with the missus before the baby comes.
You know, it’s like plantin’ corn. Sometimes you gotta plant, sometimes you gotta wait. Can’t rush these things. Same with golf, I guess. Can’t play every weekend, gotta rest up sometime.
