So, I was just catching up on some golf news earlier today, scrolling through the usual stuff, you know, checking scores and highlights.

The Autograph Thing
Then I stumbled across this little story about Scottie Scheffler. Apparently, he was signing autographs for fans, doing the usual meet-and-greet thing. People were handing him stuff – flags, programs, probably a lot of Masters gear.
But then someone handed him a Boston Celtics hat. And Scheffler, well, he just wasn’t having it. He reportedly took one look at it and politely declined to sign that particular item. Didn’t make a huge scene, from what I gathered, but just didn’t sign the Celtics stuff.
It got me thinking. You hear about these kinds of things sometimes. Players have their loyalties, right? He’s a big Dallas Mavericks supporter, I think, especially with them being in the finals against the Celtics. So, yeah, maybe signing the rival’s gear felt a bit wrong to him.
It’s just one of those small moments you see in sports. Shows you these players have their own allegiances, just like the fans. Kind of funny, in a way. Just a regular guy moment, refusing to sign the rival team’s hat. Nothing too dramatic, just happened.
