Okay, so I wanted to figure out the best nature for my Scorbunny in Pokémon Sword and Shield. I’ve been playing these games since I was a kid, and I always want to make sure my starter is the best it can be, you know?

First, I booted up my Switch and got into the game. My Scorbunny was already a few levels in, but I hadn’t really paid attention to its nature yet. So, I opened up the menu and checked its summary.
My Initial Thoughts
- Scorbunny is a Fire-type, so it’s all about attacking and speed.
- I wanted it to hit hard and fast, of course.
I wanted to know what other players did, and then make my decision.
Figuring Out the Best Nature
After reading, a bunch of people say that Jolly or Adamant are the way to go for Scorbunny.
- Jolly: This boosts Speed and lowers Special Attack. Since Scorbunny is a physical attacker, we don’t really care about Special Attack.
- Adamant: This boosts Attack and lowers Special Attack. Again, we’re ditching Special Attack for more power.
My Decision and Why
Honestly, it’s was a tough choice! Both sounded great. But I decided to aim for a Jolly nature. My reasoning? Speed is king, especially early in the game. I want my Scorbunny to outspeed everything and take them down before they can even hit me. I figured a little extra speed would be more helpful in the long run than a tiny bit more * it did!
So there you have it! That’s how I tackled the “best nature for Scorbunny” question. It was all about thinking about Scorbunny’s strengths and my own play style. Good luck with your own Scorbunny!
