Okay, so I finally decided to get my hands on the Royal Spear in Genshin Impact. I’d heard mixed things, but I wanted to try it out myself. So, I went straight in!

Collecting Starglitter
First things first, I needed to get enough Masterless Starglitter. That’s the stuff you use in the shop to buy weapons and characters, remember? I’d been saving up, mostly from doing wishes and getting duplicate 4-star characters and weapons I already had.
I checked my inventory – Inventory > Starglitter Exchange. It’s always good to count everything before do anything.
Buying the Royal Spear
Next, I opened the shop. Shop > Paimon’s Bargains > Starglitter Exchange. There it was, the Royal Spear, shining brightly. I checked out if I had more than enough Starglitter, I clicked “Purchase,” and bam! It’s in my inventory!
Equipping and Testing
- I went to my character screen (the character I planned to use it on, anyway).
- Clicked on the “Weapons” tab.
- Selected the Royal Spear from my inventory.
- Hit “Equip.” Done!
Now for the fun part – trying it out! I took my character, who now had this fancy new spear, to fight some Hilichurls for fun. I swung it around, tried out the normal attacks, watched the critical hits… you know, the usual stuff. My first impression? Not bad, the animation is so cool.
Leveling Up
Of course, a new weapon is no good at level 1. I needed materials! I remembered I had some Enhancement Ores, and then I had to go farm some more of those annoying enemy drops.I went to the weapon screen again, selected the Royal Spear, and clicked “Enhance.”

I kept feeding it materials until it was leveled up decently. Now I had my Royal Spear is ready for battle! I’ll keep playing with it and see if I can use it to its full potential!
