Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Rory McIlroy belt” thing pop up all over my golf feeds. I’m a bit of a gear nerd, so I figured, why not? Let’s see what the hype is about and if I can even find the darn thing.

The Hunt Begins
First things first, I jumped on the internet. I typed in “Rory McIlroy belt” and… wow. Lots of pictures of Rory, not so many places to actually buy a belt. It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought.
I noticed most pictures showed him wearing Nike belts, obviously, since he’s a Nike guy. But it wasn’t some special edition, super-exclusive “Rory Belt.” It looked like he just wears different Nike belts, depending on the outfit.
Digging Deeper
I spent a good hour just browsing through golf forums and online stores. I saw a bunch of similar styles – braided belts, leather belts, some with fancy buckles, some plain. It seemed like the “Rory look” was more about the overall style than one specific belt.
- Braided belts: These seemed popular. They looked comfortable and had a bit of stretch.
- Leather belts: Classic, always a good choice. Some had cool textures or stitching.
- Buckles: Nothing too flashy, mostly simple and clean designs.
My “Rory” Belt
After all that searching, I decided to just go with something that felt like a Rory belt to me. I ended up getting a simple, black leather belt with a silver buckle. Nothing crazy, but it looked sharp and would go with pretty much anything.
I wore it out to the range the other day, and you know what? I felt good. Maybe it was the belt, maybe it was just the placebo effect. Either way, I hit the ball a little straighter. (Okay, maybe not, but I felt like I did!).

So, the “Rory McIlroy belt” quest? It wasn’t about finding the belt, but more about finding a belt that fit the style. And hey, if it makes me feel a little more like a pro, I’ll take it!
