Before him, making it that far wasn’t nearly as common for them, even though they had some good teams with guys like Len Dawson way back, or Montana for a short bit, and others through the 90s and 2000s.
It’s interesting to see the ups and downs. You get a feel for the history, the near misses, the big wins. It wasn’t just flipping a switch and becoming champions; there was a lot of history leading up to this recent success.
