Hey everyone, it’s your boy here, back with another wild ride from the world of wrestling. Today, I gotta talk about something that’s been on my mind a lot lately – the whole Randy Orton and Matt Riddle saga, or as we all knew it, RK-Bro.
So, picture this: I was just chilling, scrolling through my phone, when I stumbled upon this interview. It was Matt Riddle talking, and he was going on about how he wished things had wrapped up differently with RK-Bro before he left WWE. Now, I’ve always been a huge fan of Riddle. The dude’s got charisma, he’s a beast in the ring, and let’s be real, his laid-back vibe is just infectious. And Randy Orton? What needs to be said about the guy, he is a living legend. Put them together, and you’ve got pure magic.
I remember watching their tag team matches, and it was like, these guys were meant to be together. They had this chemistry that you just can’t fake. Riddle, with his high-flying moves and that carefree attitude, and Orton, the seasoned vet with that killer RKO. It was a match made in wrestling heaven, man.
But then, things got messy. The Usos stepped in, and suddenly, Riddle and Orton were facing them in a match to unify the tag team titles. I was on the edge of my seat for that one, I tell you. It was a banger of a match, but in the end, The Usos walked away with the gold. And that was it. That was the last time we saw RK-Bro together. No final match, no closure, just…gone.
Then I hear Riddle’s talking about wanting to “finish the story” with RK-Bro, and it got me thinking, what if? What if they had gotten that one last match? What if they had gone out on their own terms, you know? It’s one of those things that’ll probably always bug me, man.
I even saw this other interview where Riddle was talking about still being friends with Orton. That’s cool, I guess. It’s good to know that they’re still bros behind the scenes, but it doesn’t change the fact that we, the fans, were robbed of a proper ending to the RK-Bro story. I listened to a podcast episode where he was expressing his desire to return to WWE and continue the story, which made me feel a little excited.
- Give RK-Bro a rematch against The Usos. Let them have one last shot at glory, win or lose.
- If they lose, have Orton turn on Riddle. Classic heel move, right? It would’ve been epic!
- Or, have them win, and then have a storyline where they eventually face each other. A friendly rivalry, culminating in a big match at WrestleMania or something.
Here’s what I would’ve done if I were calling the shots:
But hey, that’s just me, a guy who loves wrestling and loves a good story. At the end of the day, it is what it is. RK-Bro might be over, but the memories they gave us will last forever. And who knows, maybe one day, just maybe, we’ll see them together in the ring again. A fan can dream, right?
Anyway, that’s my rant for today. Let me know what you guys think about the whole RK-Bro situation. Were you as invested in it as I was? Do you think they should’ve had a different ending? Hit me up in the comments, and let’s talk wrestling!
