Okay, so I stumbled upon this “Rachel Lackey” thing and decided to give it a whirl. Honestly, I didn’t really know what to expect, but I figured, why not? I’m always up for trying something new.

First, I looked her up. Just a basic search to see what popped up. I found, like, a bunch of different stuff – social media profiles, some articles, maybe a video or two. It was a little overwhelming at first, just a big jumble of information.
Diving In
I started by clicking around, you know, just exploring. I checked out a few of the social media profiles. I skimmed through some of the articles. Nothing really grabbed me at first. It was all kind of…generic? Like, nothing that really made me go, “Whoa, this is interesting!”
- Checked Social Media.
- Articles Reading.
- Something else.
Then, I decided to get a little more systematic. Instead of just randomly clicking, I picked one specific thing – let’s say it was a blog post – and focused on that. I actually read the whole thing, start to finish. Not just skimming, but actually reading.
Getting somewhere
And that’s when things started to get a little more interesting. This one blog post, it was about… well, it doesn’t really matter what it was about. The point is, I actually engaged with it. I thought about what she was saying. I even left a comment – just a short one, nothing major.
From there, I followed a few links within the blog post. That led me to some other stuff – a different website, a few more articles. And slowly, I started to get a better sense of who this Rachel Lackey person is and what she’s all about.

My two cents
It was not instant. It was a process. I had to put in some time and effort. But by actually engaging with the material, instead of just passively scrolling, I actually learned something. It still wasn’t like, mind-blowing or anything, but it was definitely more interesting than I initially *, I will keep doing something!
So yeah, that’s my Rachel Lackey experience. Not exactly earth-shattering, but not a complete waste of time either.
