So, I really got into this “Pure Fiction” thing in Star Rail. I figured I’d jot down my thoughts and what I did, just in case it helps someone else out there.
First off, I jumped into the game and started poking around this new mode. It’s pretty wild with this whole “Grit” thing that buffs your team up like crazy. I was like, “Okay, let’s see what this is all about.” I spent a good chunk of time just trying different characters and seeing how they worked with this new mechanic.
Figuring Out the Teams
After messing around a bit, I started to get a feel for which characters were really shining in Pure Fiction. It’s all about that crowd control and dealing massive damage to groups of enemies. I put together a few teams, tested them out, and tweaked them based on how they performed. It was a lot of trial and error, but that’s how you figure things out, right?
- First Team I Tried: I threw in some of my strongest characters. They did okay, but I felt like I was missing something.
- Second Team: This one was more focused on characters that could hit multiple enemies at once. Definitely an improvement.
- Third Team: I finally started to hit my stride. I picked characters that worked well together and had that Grit synergy.
Getting Those Points
Then there’s the whole points system. You gotta aim for 60,000 points across two rounds, but the catch is you can only snag up to 40,000 in the first round. So, I played through the first round, kept an eye on the enemies, and tried to maximize my score. It’s a bit of a balancing act because you don’t want to waste all your heavy hitters in the first round.
I focused on clearing out as many enemies as possible in the first round. I paid attention to which enemies spawned and used my characters’ abilities to take them out efficiently. I noticed that some enemies were tougher than others, so I made sure to prioritize them.
The Second Round
Once I hit that 40,000 mark, I moved onto the second round. This is where things got a bit trickier. I had to be smart about which characters I used and when. I saved some of my best abilities for the tougher enemies, and made sure to keep my team healthy.
What I Found
After grinding it out for a while, I finally hit that sweet 60,000 points. It took some time, but I felt pretty good about it. I realized that teamwork and understanding the Grit mechanic are super important. Also, don’t be afraid to experiment with different characters and strategies. It’s all about finding what works best for you.
I wrote all of this up mainly to look back on later. Who knows, maybe it’ll be useful to someone else too. Happy gaming, folks!
