Well, alright, let’s talk about this Puebla versus Santos Laguna match, you know, the one everyone’s yapping about. Folks keep asking me who’s gonna win, like I got a crystal ball or something. But, you know, I been around long enough to see a thing or two, and I can tell ya, it ain’t always the fancy teams that win.
So, Puebla, they ain’t been doin’ so hot lately. Lost all their games this season, poor things. Sounds like they need a good talking to, or maybe a good kick in the pants. Well, ain’t that somethin’. Computers know everything now, I guess. But, you know, computers ain’t never played a game of soccer, have they? They don’t know what it’s like to run around in the heat, kickin’ that ball.
- Puebla: They’re the home team, playin’ at their place. They ain’t won a game yet this season, gotta be hungry for a win.
- Santos Laguna: They’re supposed to be the better team, computers say so. But, computers ain’t always right, are they?
Some folks are bettin’ on Puebla, even though they’re losin’. Say they’re the favorites, somethin’ about +155 odds. Means if you put down a hundred dollars, you get a hundred and fifty-five back if they win. Not bad, eh? But, then again, they gotta win first.
Now, I heard tell that the game’s gonna be on Friday at 6:45 PM ET. That’s nighttime, right? Maybe it’ll be cooler then, make for a better game. And some folks are sayin’ the score’s gonna be 3 to 1, with Puebla winnin’. Well, wouldn’t that be somethin’?
