Alright, guys, so I’ve been grinding PUBG hard lately, and I figured it was time to put together my own little weapons tier list. I messed around with all sorts of guns in the training mode and in actual matches, so here’s what I found after hours of playing.

Getting Started: The Setup
First, I jumped into the training mode. This place is perfect because you can grab any weapon and just start blasting. No pressure, just pure testing. I made sure I had all the attachments I usually look for in a real game – scopes, grips, extended mags, the works. This way, I could see how each gun performs when it’s fully kitted out.
Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3
I started with the ARs (Assault Rifles), because, let’s be real, those are the bread and butter of most loadouts. I lined up targets at different ranges – close, medium, and long – and just started spraying. I paid close attention to the recoil patterns, how easy it was to control, and how quickly I could down a target.
- M416: This thing is still a beast. Super stable, easy to control, and just melts people.
- Beryl M762: Packs a punch, but that recoil is wild. Took some getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, it was dropping enemies left and right.
- AKM: Hard-hitting, but that recoil is a killer. Good for close-range fights if you can land your shots.
- SCAR-L:Solid, it’s reliable.
- G36C:Only on certain maps, but control and stability is very satisfying.
Then I moved on to the SMGs (Submachine Guns). These are your close-quarters buddies. Again, I focused on recoil and time-to-kill.
- UMP45: This one has my heart. It’s just so versatile and easy to use.
- Vector: Crazy fast fire rate, but you burn through ammo like crazy. Need that extended mag.
- PP-19 Bizon:Big mag but felt a bit slower in damage.
Next, the DMRs (Designated Marksman Rifles) and Sniper Rifles. This is where range really comes into play. I practiced hitting those long-range shots, seeing how much bullet drop there was, and how many shots it took to down a target.
- SKS: Good rate fire, and solid choice.
- SLR: Packs more of a punch but has more recoil.
- Mini14:Very easy to find, super stable for follow up shots.
- AWM: The king. One shot, one kill. If you find it, you better not miss.
- M24: Almost as good as the AWM, and you can actually find it in the world.
- Kar98k: Classic bolt-action, feels good to land those headshots.
After that, I also try Shotguns and LMGs(Light Machine Guns).

Putting It to the Real Test
Training mode is one thing, but real matches are where it counts. I dropped into Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, all the maps, and tried to use different weapons in each match. I wanted to see how they performed under pressure, when I was getting shot at, and when I had to make quick decisions.
My Final Thoughts
After all this playing and testing, I’ve got a pretty good feel for what works for me. Now, this is just my opinion, and your playstyle might be different, but it can be a good start for your *’s all about finding what you’re comfortable with and what helps you win those chicken dinners. Happy gaming!
