Well, hello there! Today, we’re gonna yak about somethin’ called “Pixelmon Hidden Ability.” I ain’t no fancy expert or nothin’, but I’ll tell ya what I know, alright?
So, these Pixelmon creatures, they got these things called abilities, see? Like, some can make ’em stronger, some can make ’em faster, ya know? But then there’s these hidden abilities, kinda like secret powers they don’t always show.
Now, how d’ya know if your Pixelmon’s got one of these hidden thingamajigs? Well, you gotta go take a peek at its summary. It’s like lookin’ at its report card, I guess. It’ll say right there if it’s got a hidden ability or not. But, and this is a big but, it won’t tell ya what it does. Nope, you gotta figure that out yourself, or maybe ask someone who knows more than me, which ain’t hard.
Findin’ Pixelmon with Hidden Abilities
Now, don’t go thinkin’ you can just catch any ol’ Pixelmon out in the wild and it’ll have a hidden ability. Nope, it ain’t that easy. It’s like findin’ a four-leaf clover, kinda rare. I heard tell it’s somethin’ like a one in 150 chance, maybe even less. So, don’t get your hopes up too high, ya hear?
- Tera Raid Battles: If you’re playin’ them newfangled games, like Scarlet and Violet, the best way to get these special Pixelmon is by doin’ those Tera Raid Battles. I don’t know much about them, but I hear they’re like big group fights.
- Breeding: Another way, and this one’s a bit more complicated, is by breedin’ your Pixelmon. If the mama Pixelmon has a hidden ability, there’s a good chance, like 60% I heard, that the baby Pixelmon will get it too. But you gotta have a mama with the hidden ability to start with, so it’s kinda like a chicken and egg thing, ya know? And if the little darlings don’t have hidden abilities to start, they don’t suddenly grow one, it seems.
- Postgame Ability Changer: I also heard tell there’s somethin’ called an Ability Changer you can use after you finish the main game. Sounds fancy, huh? I guess it can change a Pixelmon’s regular ability to its hidden one. But I ain’t never seen it myself, so don’t quote me on that.
What Them Hidden Abilities Do
Now, what do these hidden abilities do, you ask? Well, all sorts of things! Some might make a Pixelmon’s attacks stronger, some might make ’em tougher to beat, some might even change what kind of attacks they can use. Like, I heard of one that turns normal attacks into flying attacks. Ain’t that somethin’? It’s like givin’ a bird the ability to breathe underwater, kinda unexpected like.
Why They’re Important
So, why should you care about these hidden abilities? Well, they can make your Pixelmon a whole lot better, that’s why! They can give ’em an edge in battles, make ’em more useful for certain tasks. It’s like givin’ ’em a secret weapon, ya know? And they are rarer than hen’s teeth, I tell you. A regular ability, well, each Pixelmon has one or two, picked at random if there’s two. But these hidden ones, well they are special.
Confusin’ Stuff
I read on some young’un’s note, he was complainin’ that findin’ Pixelmon with hidden abilities was too complicated and confusing. He checked the summary of his creatures and was wonderin’ if he could still find them in the wild, or if you had to start with creatures without the abilities and breed ‘em to get hidden abilities. It can be a little confusing. But the gist is, findin’ these creatures in the wild is real tough. Breeding is an option if one parent has the ability, and I heard there’s a way to switch it up with an Ability Changer later on in the game.
Wrap it Up, Will Ya?
So, there ya have it. That’s about all I know about Pixelmon Hidden Abilities. They’re kinda rare, kinda mysterious, but they can make your Pixelmon a whole lot better. If you wanna learn more, you might have to ask someone who knows more than an ol’ lady like me. But I hope this helped a little bit, anyhow.
