Okay, so today I was messing around with my fantasy football lineup, trying to decide between Pitts and Goedert. It’s a tough one, right? Both are pretty solid tight ends, but I needed to pick just one for my starting spot.

Digging into the Stats
First, I pulled up their stats from the last few games. I wanted to see who was getting more targets, more receptions, and, of course, more touchdowns. Touchdowns are king in fantasy, am I right?
- Checked recent game logs.
- Compared targets, receptions, and yards.
- Looked for any injury reports – that’s always a big one.
I also scrolled through some expert rankings and projections. You know, just to see what the “pros” were saying. Sometimes they see things I don’t, but honestly, sometimes I think they’re just guessing too!
The Matchup Matters
Then I looked at who they were playing this week. A tough defense can really shut down a tight end, while a weaker defense… well, that’s where the points can really pile up. I spent some time analyzing the defensive stats of their opponents. You know the average point that the defence allows to TEs.
Trusting My Gut
After all that, it was still a close call. Both guys looked pretty good, and the numbers were pretty even. So, you know what I did? I went with my gut. Sometimes, you just gotta trust your instincts, even if the stats don’t give you a clear answer. It feels more satisfied.
I ended up starting Goedert. Don’t ask me exactly why… it was just a feeling. Hopefully, it pays off! I’ll be watching the games closely, that’s for sure. Wish my team get big points!
