Okay, here’s my blog post about checking out James Rawls’ NFL Draft prospects. It’s all from my own digging around, no fancy expert stuff, just a regular fan’s perspective.

So, I got curious about this James Rawls guy after seeing his name pop up in some draft discussions. I wanted to do my own little investigation, you know, like a mini-scout at home. I wasn’t about to rely solely on what other was talking, So I started by pulling up any game footage I could find. YouTube is a goldmine for this kind of stuff.
I watched a bunch of his games, trying to pay attention to the stuff that matters. Like, how’s his speed off the line? Does he get good blocks? How many yard he can ran? Simple stuff, right? I’m not breaking down complex plays or anything.
What I Saw
- First thing I noticed:Rawls had a very impressive record!
- Then I went to check:If he could be selected by Philadelphia Eagles, that would be cool.
- Finally: I found some Mock Drafts, and surprisingly, his name showed on the 6-7th round in many articals!
After watching the videos, I jumped onto some NFL draft websites. I checked out his official stats – height, weight, 40-yard dash time, all that. I didn’t take the web data too serilize but it gave me a basic idea. It’s one thing to see a guy play, it’s another to see the cold, hard numbers.
Then, I dug through some online forums and articles. I wanted to see what other fans and amateur analysts were saying. What are the debates? What are the worries? Sometimes the best insights come from people who just really love football. Of cause I don’t trust them all, just see what’s going on there.
I even tried to find some interviews with Rawls. Hearing a player talk about the game, their training, their mindset… that can tell you a lot. It’s not always about physical skills, sometimes it’s about the mental game.

Finally, I put it all together in my head. I formed my own, very unofficial, opinion. Is he a first-round pick? Probably not. But could he be a solid player with some development? Maybe! It’s all just for fun, but it’s cool to try and figure this stuff out on your own. That’s how I felt about this James Rawls “research”. I have no final conclude but I did have fun with searching his information.
