Alright, so I’ve been jumping between Valorant and Overwatch 2 quite a bit lately. You know how it is. But man, my aim felt completely whack switching back and forth. One game I’m hitting shots, the next I’m spraying prayers all over the place. It was really starting to bug me.

I figured, maybe I can make the sensitivity feel the same? Like, get that muscle memory working for me, not against me. So, I decided to give it a shot and try to sync them up.
My Process Getting the Sens Right
First up, I needed my Valorant sens. Booted up Valorant, went straight into the settings. Had to poke around a bit, but found it under the ‘Controls’ and then ‘General’ tab, I think. Saw my sensitivity number there. Let’s say, for this walkthrough, mine was 0.35. Made a mental note of that, or you could jot it down.
Okay, now the tricky part. How to get that into Overwatch 2? I remembered hearing, maybe from some forum posts or just chatter online, that there’s a rough conversion factor people use. It’s not gonna be perfect cause the games are built different, different engines, different feel, you know? But the number that kept popping up was multiplying the Valorant sens by 10.6.
So, I grabbed my phone calculator. Punched in my Valorant sens (0.35) and multiplied it by that 10.6 number.
- 0.35 10.6 = 3.71
Got 3.71. That looked like my target number for Overwatch 2.

Next, I closed Valorant and fired up Overwatch 2. Once I was in, I navigated to the options menu. Went into ‘Controls’, then under the ‘Mouse’ section (or maybe it was ‘General’ again, sometimes I forget), I found the ‘Sensitivity’ slider. It was on whatever I had it last, maybe like 5 or something. I carefully clicked the box and typed in my new calculated number: 3.71.
Testing it Out
Now for the moment of truth. I didn’t just jump into a match. Nah, went straight to the Practice Range. Picked Cassidy, my usual hitscan benchmark. Started flicking onto those friendly neighborhood training bots. Did some 180 turns, some tracking exercises, just trying to get a feel for it.
And you know what? It felt surprisingly decent right off the bat. It wasn’t a perfect 1:1 mirror image feel, ’cause like I said, different games. But the distance my crosshair moved when I moved my mouse felt way, way closer to what I was used to in Valorant. It wasn’t super fast or sluggishly slow compared to what I expected.
I spent maybe 10-15 minutes in the range. Did I tweak it? Yeah, a tiny bit. I think I bumped it up to maybe 3.75 in the end, just felt a hair better for micro-adjustments in OW2. But that initial calculation of 3.71 was like, 98% there.
So that was my little project. Found the Val sens, did the 10.6 multiplication, put the result into OW2, tested, tweaked slightly. Honestly, it’s made switching between the two games feel a lot smoother for my aim. If you’re playing both and feeling that sensitivity disconnect, maybe give this method a go. Worked pretty well for me.
