So, yeah, decided to get ready for Firefly. You know how it is, new character drops, everyone’s excited. I figured, why wait? Let’s get all the bits and pieces ready beforehand. Makes things smoother on release day, right? Less stress, more just enjoying the new character.

Figuring Out What She Needs
First step was finding out what materials she actually uses. Had to poke around a bit, look at what the community was digging up. You usually find this stuff floating around if you look hard enough. Needed the usual spread:
- Character Ascension materials
- Trace upgrade stuff
- Light Cone materials (just in case, always good to be prepared)
It’s always a bit of a guess early on, but the info seemed solid enough to start the grind.
The Actual Grind
Okay, so the farming began. Spent my Trailblaze Power pretty religiously every day. The main thing was that new ascension material, the Raging Heart, I think it’s called? From that Stagnant Shadow boss, the Stellaron Hunter guy. Honestly, fighting the same boss over and over gets old fast, but gotta do what you gotta do.
Then there were the Trace materials. She’s Harmony, so it was off to the Bud of Harmony Calyx. Endless runs. Seriously, probably hundreds of waves of those enemies just for the purple books. It’s mind-numbing work, just auto-battle and hope for the best sometimes. You just put on a podcast or something and zone out.
And the enemy drops! Those new ones, the Moon Madness Fang items from those Penacony dream monsters. Had to find good farming routes, running around the map, beating up the same mobs repeatedly. Felt like I was clearing out whole ecosystems sometimes.

I also made sure to farm the weekly boss materials, the ones from the Echo of War. Gotta collect those Lost Echo of the Shared Wish things. You only get a few chances per week, so couldn’t skip those.
Keeping Track and Finishing Up
I kept a simple list, just jotted down how many of each thing I needed and how many I had. Helps to see the progress, makes it feel less like you’re running in circles for nothing. Seeing the numbers tick up, getting closer to the goal… it’s satisfying in its own way.
Now, I’m mostly done. Got a nice pile of materials sitting there. Feels good, knowing I can probably get her leveled up and traces boosted pretty high right when she drops. Saves a lot of hassle later. Was it boring? Yeah, parts of it definitely were. Prefarming always is a bit of a chore. But being ready on day one? Feels worth it to me. Now just gotta wait for her banner!
