Alright, let me walk you through my go at this “Cloud Cruisin’” thing in Monopoly Go this past June. Soon as I logged in, boom, new event banner right there. Looked like one of those typical tile-landing events, you know the drill.

Getting Started
First thing, I tapped on the event icon to see what the deal was. Needed to land on specific pickup spots scattered around the board. Checked out the rewards track. Standard stuff mostly:
- Dice rolls
- In-game cash
- Sticker packs (always chasing those golds, right?)
- Some milestone markers along the way
The final prize looked pretty decent, maybe a new shield or token, can’t quite recall exactly. But the points needed, especially for the later milestones? Looked like a real grind was ahead.
The Actual Playing Part
So, I just started rolling. Kept my multiplier kinda low at first, maybe x3 or x5, just feeling things out. Landed on a few event spots pretty quick, got those early points easy enough. Felt good, thought maybe this one wouldn’t be too bad.
Then I got a bit bolder. Saw a pickup spot just a few spaces away, bumped the multiplier up to x20. Risky, I know. Sometimes it paid off big time, getting a load of points in one go. Other times, total whiff. Landed right past it, or on Go To Jail. Burned through dice way faster than I wanted doing that.
Hit a few dry spells where I just couldn’t seem to land on anything useful for like, ten minutes straight. Just utilities, taxes, free parking… everything but the event tiles. That part gets annoying, makes you want to throw your phone, haha. Well, not really, but you get it.

I tried to sync it up with other things, like landing on railroads during the Railroad tournament that was running alongside it. Double dip on points, you know? That helped a bit when it worked out.
How It Ended Up
Honestly? I didn’t complete the whole event track. Got maybe two-thirds of the way through? Maybe a bit more. The point requirements just got really high towards the end, and my dice stash was looking sad.
Still managed to grab a good pile of dice from the milestones I did hit, plus a couple of sticker packs. Nothing amazing, but decent enough. It kept me busy in the game for a few days.
Main takeaway for me was the same old lesson: chasing those high multipliers is tempting but dangerous. Probably better to stick with lower, steadier rolls unless you’re swimming in dice or feeling super lucky. Anyway, that was my run with Cloud Cruisin’. Onto the next event grind, I guess.
